What is Decentralize Work

Decentralize Work refers to a modern organizational approach where both decision-making authority and everyday tasks are distributed across a network of individuals and locations.

Pitch

In this project, I want to reverse engineer the problem that crypto is trying to solve: Decentralization.

While crypto focuses on decentralizing currency, the real challenge lies in decentralizing work itself—how people collaborate, contribute, and get rewarded fairly.

Crypto struggles to be convenient for daily use, and struggles to offer practical advantage in our daily lives. There is no reason you NEED to be using crypto right now.

Our platform aims to make decentralized collaboration practical and transparent by starting with work as the foundation.

By doing so, we unlock new possibilities for organizations and individuals to build, grow, and thrive together without centralized control, creating a more equitable and efficient future of work.

Assumptions

Organizations are optimized by integrating decentralized parts.
Organizations retain centralized control.
Actors in a decentralized organization will tend to act towards their own benefits.
Transparency is very important.

Facts

On average, it takes 3.5 to 5 months for job seekers to land a new role, though this varies by industry and situation. For companies, job postings typically stay open for 30–45 days, but the full time to fill a role averages about 44 days globally, with some positions remaining open much longer depending on complexity and seniority.

Average process alone: ~23 days

By industry:

Tech & Finance: Often 35–45 days.
Healthcare & Retail: Faster, sometimes under 30 days.
Executive/Specialized roles: Can remain open for 2–6 months.
